Allendale Soft Coral Reef
Private Residence, Allendale, NJ
A long reef aquarium set into a dark cabinet in a private home in Allendale, New Jersey, lit so the reef glows against the room.
Soft corals, leathers and anemones rise from open rockwork over a bright white sand bed, with tangs, clownfish and wrasses moving through the structure. The tank is open at the corners, so the reef can be seen from more than one side of the room.
It is a mature, full reef: dense, colorful and constantly moving.
