Chevron Wall Reef
Private Residence, Upper Saddle River, NJ
In this Upper Saddle River home, a reef aquarium is set into a feature wall of chevron-patterned wood.
The tank is framed like a window, with tall, layered rockwork rising toward the surface and reef fish moving through it. Seen from across the open, marble-floored living space, the illuminated reef draws the eye through the whole room.
It is a simple idea done well: the aquarium becomes the artwork on the wall.
