Framed Lobby Aquarium
Nursing Facility Lobby, South Jersey
A wall-mounted aquarium is presented like a framed painting in this lobby.
The tank sits within a gilded frame on a gray feature wall, with cichlids swimming over white sand and smooth stones in a minimal, sculptural layout. With the chandelier, patterned rug and soft seating, the lobby feels residential and welcoming, and the aquarium adds movement and color without taking up floor space.
It is a refined, low-profile way to bring a living element into a high-traffic entry.
This 250-gallon double-sided freshwater aquarium was installed in the lobby of a nursing facility in South Jersey, where it gives residents, families and staff a calming, living focal point.
