Aquarium
Kitchen & Study
Private Residence
Two built-in reef aquariums anchor two very different rooms in the same home.
In the kitchen, the reef is set into a warm brick-and-wood surround opposite the island, turning the busiest room in the house into a place to pause. In the study, a second reef is built into dark, library-style paneling beside the bookshelves, glowing softly behind the desk like a framed seascape.
Both tanks are recessed flush with the surrounding millwork, with filtration concealed out of sight, so each reads as part of the house rather than an object placed in it.
