Medical Office
A freshwater planted aquarium is recessed into a walnut feature wall in this bright, modern reception area.
The long, low tank reads as a living landscape, with green plants and driftwood seen from the lounge seating and again from the curving stair. Warm wood, white furniture and wide-plank floors keep the space calm and light, and the aquarium adds a natural, restorative focal point.
It is biophilic design at its simplest: a quiet window onto nature, built into the architecture.
