Aquarium
Mural Den
Private Residence
A panoramic reef runs along the wall of this wood-paneled den, set beside a hand-painted mural.
The aquarium is framed by the room's carved millwork and warm sconce lighting, so the reef reads as one more piece in a richly layered space. Fish and corals bring bright color and movement against the deep-toned wood, and the long format gives the display real presence across the room.
It is a den designed for lingering, and the aquarium is its centerpiece.
