Aquarium
River-View Driftwood Aquarium
Private Residence
A long, low rimless aquarium runs along the base of a dark feature wall in this river-view apartment.
Driftwood and stone stretch across the tank, lit from within, while city lights glow through the floor-to-ceiling windows beyond. The low, horizontal format keeps the view open and lets the aquarium read as part of the architecture rather than an object in the room.
At night especially, the tank becomes a quiet line of light that draws the eye from the dining table to the skyline.
