Aquarium
Spa Bath Reef
Private Residence
A reef aquarium becomes the backdrop to a sunken soaking tub in this spa bathroom.
Set into a full-height walnut wall beneath a skylight, the tank brings color and movement into an otherwise minimal, stone-and-wood room. Daylight from above and the aquarium's own lighting play across the water and the tub, giving the space a soft, shifting glow.
It is a quietly luxurious detail: the bath becomes a place to unwind with a living reef at eye level, and every piece of equipment stays hidden within the wall.
