Aquarium
Stair Landing Reef
Private Residence
A reef aquarium set into the wall at the top of a staircase, where it greets anyone coming up.
The tank is recessed into a dark surround and lit from above, so it glows at the end of the landing above the railing. Rockwork and fish are visible from the stair below and up close from the landing.
It turns a passage into a destination.
