Water Feature
Financial Firm
Columbus Circle, NYC
A sculptural water feature becomes the centerpiece of the lobby—built from custom-cut basalt stone arranged in a precise, puzzle-like pattern. Each block was individually fabricated and set to form an interactive “figure-it-out” surface, inviting employees to study the geometry, trace the hidden logic, and spot the solution embedded in the layout.
Behind the scenes, it was a highly skilled fabrication: tight tolerances, consistent reveals, and a seamless fit from piece to piece—turning a natural volcanic material into a refined, architectural installation that feels equal parts art, craft, and daily challenge.
